Due to the large number of people expected at the Capitol, we recommend that you come by bus, carpool, or take public transportation if possible. For those coming from the East or South, Light Rail is a fast and cost effective way of getting into the Capitol. The Light Rail Blue Line goes from Watt/I-80 to Meadowview in Elk Grove, passing the Capitol Building between, while the Gold Line goes from the Capitol to Folsom.
